iStrus ClickUp-Pipedrive Integration

This application is a Self-Hosted Pipedrive-ClickUp Connector. It acts as an intelligent automation bridge that keeps your Sales team (Pipedrive) and Delivery/Project team (ClickUp) in perfect sync without manual data entry.

Here is the breakdown of its functionality:

1. Automated Project Kickoff

When a Deal is created or reaches a specific stage in Pipedrive:

  • Creates Structure: The app automatically clones a pre-defined "Project Template" in ClickUp (creating a dedicated List and identifying Folder).
  • Centralizes Data: It creates a "Master Task" (Card) in that ClickUp List containing all critical deal information:
    • Deal Value & Currency
    • Contact Person details (Name, Email, Phone)
  • Formatted Notes: Automatically converts Pipedrive's HTML notes into clean, readable Markdown for ClickUp.

2. The "Feedback Loop" (Two-Way Sync)

  • Pipedrive Update: Once the ClickUp project is created, the app writes the ClickUp Project URL back into a custom field in Pipedrive.
Benefit: Salespeople can jump straight to the project plan with one click.
  • Status Sync: When the Project Status changes in ClickUp (e.g., "In Progress" -> "Completed"), the app automatically updates the corresponding Status field in Pipedrive.

3. Enterprise-Grade Reliability

Unlike simple Zapier/Make automations, this app is built for scale:

  • Anti-Duplicate Protection: Identifies if a webhook was sent twice and ignores duplicates.
  • Infinite Loop Prevention: Smart logic prevents "Ping-Pong" updates where the two systems endlessly trigger each other.
  • Time-Travel Queue (QStash): Creating large projects in ClickUp takes time. This app uses a "Queue" system to wait patiently (e.g., 30 seconds) for ClickUp to finish cloning before adding tasks, preventing common "List Not Found" errors.

In short: It turns a "Sales Won" event into a fully set-up "Delivery Project" instantly, securely, and without human error.
